Set Altitude
Overview of Rules:
The goal of Set Altitude (160 meters) is to fly a model to exactly 160 meters. Models will be tracked by theodolite to ejection, tracking powder is recommended!
Design Considerations:
A dependable design is important. Practice is also important, though you can't practice on the day of the event!
Tips for Beginners:
Pick a model and go fly it. If your club doesn't want to set up altitude tracking, you can always test with an altimeter. You want to find a model that can hit the altitude consistently.
