Tuesday August 2nd 2005 Today was a bit slower. First it was tiny models. a boost glide and a cluster (x4) so they were tiny and fast. I got a few but gave up after many many smoke trails. even the ones I got were ultra tiny IE very few of the pixels were of the actual rocket :-) I got lots of people shots and some sport flights (I missed a few nice sport shots IE I was far away from sport range when I saw them go up :-( the last few is a stunning rocket by Greg Smith. WOW what a paint job - I an envious of that rocket !!! alas a failed ignitor and time for me to leave (waited nearly half an hour for it) he said he will fly it again this week so I hope to get a lift off shot. alas it is a rather small rocket so it wont be "that" spectacular a lift off shot :-) Later tonight I will have the pics and audio from the Auction ! Check back later tonight (probably around midnight or 0100 or so. |

Huyah !!! a Micro Max caught on camera !!! :-) Look closely at this bad boy :-) 4 motrs and NONE OF THEM are on the bottom !!! :-) The plane on the left ? is a rocket boosted glider on a 1/2a I believe. and get this ITS RADIO CONTROLLED !! I said come here glider come here and was a bit stunned when it turned and came right in my direction :-) This rocket above right and below is just gorgeous. I hope I get a lift off shot sometime this week! |
