First flight of george's Helicopter for the FAI fly offs. the rubber bands had relaxed with age so they did not deply properly. this was quicky fixed and reflown.

Note the 3 Motor cluster. Note the flame sizes. the outboards are C's the center motor is a D

that little rocket on the right has an F23 in it. YES it went very high in a hurry :-)

Ouch nasty cato. tore up the motor mount otherwise undammaged.
Below is the Cato's motor. note it split along its entire length.

Above right georges Sun Seeker sidewinder lifts off. below it has already "turned" over 90's to track and aim for the sun all on its own. it worked quite nicely !

We Launched a Skidmark motor and the away cell was too close and it started a pretty nasty fire though we got VERY lucky and the wind turned INTO the field ie the fire was not headed into the field toward us. since out field was mowed it was a natural fire break and we quickly got it under control and out before the firemen got to us. they hosed it down and checked it out anyway just to be safe. you can see video of the skidmark and the fire on the vids page.
