note that a streamer duration has replaced c streamer duration, which had been previously announced as pending nar contest board approval.

these events will be governed by the united states model rocket sporting code, 1999 revision. a copy is available to all nar members from nar headquarters, or online from the nar's forms filing cabinet under the heading "contest forms;" be sure to check the important information there about the online version.

some groundrules and reminders

• contestants at naram-43 are required to perform range duties. we cannot run a national championships unless all contestants do their fair share.
• sport scale turn-in will be early in the week; probably sunday evening. your scale substantiation is required with your model.
• research and development entries must be turned in by sunday evening so the judges will have time to read your report. an oral presentation will be required for all top places, per usmrc.
