NARAM2000

Letter to Rocket Vendors

Dear Rocket Manufacturer,

I am a representative of the NARAM-42 (NARAM-2000) planning committee. I wanted to take this opportunity to make you aware of our plans for this annual event and what we are doing for the manufacturers. Note that we are not requesting you "give" gifts or other merchandise to support this event (although we do appreciate any offers!), but if you are interested in the event and want to know the particulars we wanted to invite you to query our committee or visit our web page to learn more.

We have a web page (www.naram2000.org) that contains many of the details of our current plans. This year NARAM will be held in Cañon City, Colorado. Our host hotel is the Cañon Inn in Cañon City is already filled, as is our "secondary" hotel. These hotels filled before the end of the year, indicating this will be a very large NARAM.

Our event will run from Thursday July 27th in the afternoon (that is when the NAR Board first meets) through the evening of Friday August 4th (the awards banquet). We will host a large sport launch on July 29-30 (the weekend) and the contest itself will run from Monday July 31st through Friday August 4th.

We will have a limited number of "flight line" spaces which will be 15 feet wide available. They are going fast, so if you are interested please contact Ken Mizoi at kenmizoi@rmi.net. Ken is the Contest Director for this event. We are planning a small nominal charge for this space and they are on a first come/first served basis.

Any vendor who wishes to demonstrate their product or conduct sport flights will not have to pay the sport flying fee - it will be free for vendors. If you have special needs or accommodations our committee will do what we can to help you - but we can't do it at the last minute. So if you think you need something from us please let us know at your earliest opportunity.

Thanks,
