FUN EVENTS

Four fun events are planned to whip up the modeler’s interest. The flying Saucer Duration is out of this world. Load Glide challenges sport fliers to see who can keep the heaviest gliders in the air the longest. The R/C Championships is a treat for all. The final fun event, the Imagination Celebration encourages participants to put on a sky show with movement, lights, color and sound. The grand finale of the Imagination Celebration will take place Wednesday evening during the BBQ social at Great Meadow. These events go beyond exciting.

There’s a lot to see and do in Washington DC. The Smithsonian’s newly opened Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles Airport is well worth an extended visit.  NARAM’s usually provide one afternoon off for sightseeing. A couple of hours just are not enough time to see our nation’s capital. We’ve made Tuesday a free day for NARAM participants to enjoy all that Washington and its environs have to offer.

Prizes for B Division R&D are detailed in R&D - B Division Prizes page.
