Sport Range - Auction/Forum - Contest Results - Videos Here are the Videos I shot today. I also shot the Auction and Forum but that is some 2+gigs worth. So no uploading of that :-) Video 1 is I believe by Jim Flis and is a two stage model that went cruise missle and deployed just before it would otherwise have pranged. The next video is my That Tube Rocket on a D12-3 - it did not like the higher wind on that weak a motor (Its a lob on a D12-3) and it backslid and deployed just before whacking the Roof of that shelter :-) Next up is Bob Kaplow's DVD Rocket. It Cato's on its first two flight and the third flight although it worked cracked the DVD a little. A word of note. it was a Windows XP dvd :-) Of course windows would crash twice right from the get go :-) This Rocket was H powered you can see it going up in a hurry and coming down. This was a very cool Motor. Smoky and very long slow burn (H73 I believe) This Sumo was H165 powered. Man that is a hard kicking short spitting motor. BAM and it was gone and going way up their on coast. This was a normal flight of my That Tube Rocket from lift off to touch down Picture Perfect the whole way landing some 35 feet away. I figure it went maybe 75-85 feet up. Perfect school yard lobbing rocket. |
