NARAM 45 National Association of Rocketry Annual Meet

Registration

All participants at NARAM-45 must register before they will be allowed to participate in the activities. Everyone is encouraged to register early, as this will allow us to gauge the attendance and saves you money. ALL contest registrations postmarked/received after June 30, 2003 will pay a $20 late fee. Prices will also be higher on some items if you don’t preorder them, such as tee shirts.

Competition flyers

Registration as a competition flyer entitles you to enter the National Meet and fly all sanctioned contest events, and allows you to sport fly for the entire event and attend all activities. If you are registering as a “team” or a “family”, you should fill out the fee portion only once, but will need to fill out the flyer information for each of the team/family members and sign the form appropriately for each entry. All contest flyers will be expected to perform range duties and sanctions will be imposed for those who do not.

Sport flyers

Registration as a sport flyer entitles you to sport fly for the entire event, or on Saturday and Sunday if you choose “weekend only” sport flyer, as well as attend other NARAM activities. Each person who wishes to launch a rocket must register. Sport flyers will help run the sport range, so we encourage everyone to volunteer for a range shift in order to keep the rockets flying.

Vendors

Vendors wishing to sport fly at NARAM-45, or do demonstration flights must register. We are offering all legitimate vendors one FREE sport flyer registration for the owner or designated representative. This is our way of saying thanks for taking time to come out and support the event with your products and donations. If you are a vendor wishing to fly competition, you will still be responsible for that fee.

Radio Controlled Glider Champs

If you plan to enter this fun event, please include entry fee and list the frequencies you plan to use. Also note preference if you use more than one frequency.

Banquet

Friday evening will dawn the annual NARAM awards banquet. In addition to door prizes and trophies, we will be having a buffet style dinner including fried chicken, smoked pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, German fried potatoes, corn, green beans, tossed salad, biscuits, pies, tea, and lemonade. A cash bar will also be available for soft drinks and other spirits.

BBQ Picnic

Tuesday evening will have a catered picnic at the nearby (about a mile from the hotel) Audubon State Park. It will include an all you care to eat buffet of barbeque pulled pork, barbeque pulled chicken, American potato salad, German potato salad, barbeque baked beans, macaroni and cheese, Cole slaw, bread, pickles, and onions. We have decided to have everyone be responsible for providing their own drinks for this event.

Tee Shirts

Shirts will be white with the full color patch logo on the back and “NARAM-45” on the upper left hand front. We will only have a limited number of shirts available for purchase on site and prices will be significantly higher if not preordered, so order shirts when registering for best pricing and guaranteed availability.

Additional Patches

Participants receive a commemorative patch with their registration. You may purchase additional if you wish, on an availability basis.
