NARAM-50 - Drag Race

Drag Race will be held as a fun event on Sunday, July 27

Open to all registered NARAM-50 participants, including sport flyers and Old Rocketeers
Must be pre-registered. Deadline July 17. Due to the complexities of setting up brackets, NO LATE REGISTRATIONS will be accepted.
Competition will be in 2 divisions: junior (under 18) and senior (18 and over), based on age on July 27
All flights will take place on the contest range
1/8" launch lug is required, or you may use your own launch pad/tower
It is strongly recommended that your model be distinctive in shape, size, or color to make judging easier.
Brackets will be displayed on large boards, which will be updated as flights are made.
Each heat must be flown within the specified window. Early rounds will be longer to accommodate more flights.
It is the contestant's responsibility to check the boards and be prepared to fly within the assigned window.
Check-in for each round ends 5 minutes prior to the end of the window.
If one person in a bracket is not ready to fly at the end of the round, the other person still needs to make a qualified flight to proceed to the next round.
Contestants should be prepared for 8 or more flights to get to the final round.
Where not superceded by the rules above, the event will be scored using the 2007 Pink Book rules
