The launch site is located approximately 40 miles southwest of Phoenix, and 35 miles south of the meet hotel. The wide, open field is large enough for up to “O” power rockets. The standard field waiver is 7500 ft AGL, with windows to much higher altitudes available. The site has previously hosted the National Sport Launch and a number of G Harry Stine sport launches. Prevailing winds during the NARAM are predicted to be from the West/Southwest. The field owner has granted permission for use during NARAM.
