 August 4, 2000 - Day 7 of NARAM 2000 As the old saying goes . . . all good things must come to an end. Day 7 was the last day of NARAM 2000 - but it turned out to be quite a day! On the competition field, it was the time for all the scale models to shine. Quite a crowd was gathered around the contest range all morning and into the afternoon. If you weren't flying you were probably taking pictures. These models all looked great in the judging room, but I think they looked even better flying into the sky (or attempting to). The other big event for the day was the banquet. The room had about as many people as it could hold, and the tables full of trophies were impressive. Besides the trophies, there were many thanks given to the folks who helped and contributed. There will be a page up shortly with all the scores and placements for the event. An official announcment was made that NARAM 43 will be held in Geneseo, NY next August 4th - 10th, 2001. The events for NARAM 43 will be:
